🚀 Create a Nu Skin Customer Support Chatbot with n8n

Step 1: Set up the Chat Interface

• Go to the chatbot UI. This is a simple front-end interface that talks to your n8n workflow.
• In n8n (open n8n), create a new workflow.
• Click the + in the middle and click on "On Chat message" to add a trigger node.
• Click on the toggle "Make Chat Publicly Available", then copy the URL that appears. Keep this URL for later!
• Click on "Back to Canvas".
• Click on the + to the right of the Chat Message node and select "Advanced AI".
• Select "AI Agent" in the right menu and keep it as a "Tools Agent".
• Click "Back to Canvas" again.
• Click the + under the "Chat Model" and select "AWS Bedrock Chat Model".
• For Credential, choose: "AWS Account".
• For the model: Select the first "Claude" model in the dropdown.
• You should now see the Chat Message node connected to the AI Agent node.
• Click "Save".
• Try your model by clicking the red "Chat" button and typing What is the capital of France?
• To use the chat externally, toggle the button from "Inactive" to "Active".

Step 2: Hook Up the Chatbot App

• Click on the "Hackathon Chatbot" link: /chat
• Paste in the public URL you copied from the previous step when prompted. This connects the chatbot UI to your n8n agent.

Step 3: Add Memory to the Agent

• Open the AI Agent node in your workflow.
• Enable Memory and choose long-term or short-term.
• Use a memory key such as:

chatbot_memory_nuskin

Step 4: Add Instructions

In the Agent node, under the Instructions section, paste the following:

You are a helpful assistant for Nu Skin Enterprises.
Answer customer support questions about Nu Skin's products, account help, and order tracking.
Do not answer questions unrelated to Nu Skin.
    

Step 5: Connect to Confluence for Context

• Add an HTTP Request node.
• Use the following configuration:

Method: GET
URL: https://your-domain.atlassian.net/wiki/rest/api/content/{pageId}?expand=body.storage
Headers:
  Authorization: Bearer YOUR_CONFLUENCE_API_KEY
    

Then send the response text to the Agent node to enhance its contextual knowledge.

Step 6: Hook up Airtable

• Go to airtable.com and create a free account.
• Create a base called Customer FAQs.
• Add two columns:
• Question
• Answer
• Use the Airtable node in n8n to read the questions and answers.
